MPs’ salaries — Increases capped to 2.3%. Kevin voted ‘No’

from 1st April 2008 [an MPs] annual salary is increased by no more than 2.3 per cent. and that the balance of any increase due at 1st April 2008 should be payable from 1st April 2009

I suppose it was a bit like asking turkeys if they liked Christmas, but when MPs got to vote on their own pay rise in July last year, Kevin rebelled against his party and voted against capping the increase to 2.3% (and it must have been important, he only rebelled 3 times all year, and they were all votes on MPs salary).
