So Kevin Barron, are you sure the £23,083 you claimed for your second-home last year was:
“wholly, exclusively and necessarily incurred in the performance of [your] duties”
as your signed your expenses form to certify, or have you signed a false statement? If the money wasn’t “wholly, exclusively and necessarily incurred in the performance of your duties” I would suggest you have broken the rules.
Probably best to clear it up before the election – please feel free to do so here. Your defence of Michael Martin and failure so far to comply with the wishes of your party and publish your own expense details as soon as possible is starting to look suspicious, but I’m sure everything is in order, we your constituents would just like our minds put at rest.
I know you read this blog, so if you would like to post the detail here please let me know, or post a comment letting us, your constituents, know where you have published the details. My offer of setting you up a blog like this one for free still stands.
