What Happened at the PLP Last Night

I’ll admit it, I wasn’t expecting Gordon to last this long. He’s faced down a steady stream of resignations, the expenses saga, a (half-hearted) backbench revolt, a historical low level of support in an election, and being the Chancellor that led us, hopelessly badly prepared, into the deepest and most inevitable recession in living memory.

He’s got stamina if nothing else. I thought the PLP meeting last night might be, if not the end, then at least it’s beginning – but no – Gordon emerged having bought another few months grace.

This blog is the best record I’ve found of what happened at the meeting. No mention of Kevin Barron MP though. Perhaps he really does have no view on anything?
